Cloudbreak Yoga is part of Metta Yoga Studios in Marin! At Cloudbreak you’ll find much more than the fitness and flexibility - you’ll access a deeper sense of health, enriched connections to yourself and others, and authentic inspiration - all through the journey of yoga, supported by our studio community.

CLOUDBREAK is a name of many meanings, intended to resonate with different people or just on different days. Breaking clouds are a regular weather pattern not only in Sausalito, but particularly in our part of town. This condition influences the mood and lifestyle of the everyday -- things we desire to be in tune with.
The imagery of the breaking clouds and sun shining through is nice, of course. The skies parting and light coming in symbolizes, to us, the spaciousness and inspiration we aim to foster in the studio. Lastly, Cloudbreak is a world famous surf break. The studio’s aesthetic and fun energy is inspired by surf culture which reminds us to not take things too seriously and have a good time.

The Space
Housed in a charming Sausalito building, our studio is equipped with radiant infrared heating, comfortable cork flooring, chilled and filtered water, and tons of natural light.

Our classes are “warm” using radiant infrared heating set to 80°F - 85°F (except for classes specifically noted as non-heated). The infrared heat is localized, so those who prefer a cooler temperature can situate around the perimeter of the room which is free of heating panels, and those who prefer more heat can select the center of the room. (Note that our studio does not offer “hot yoga” which is typically 90°F or Bikram which is 105°F.)

We offer natural mat cleaner, complimentary blocks, straps, bolsters, and blankets, and a chilled, filtered water bottle filler. There is one super clean restroom for your usage, and no showers.

We have awesome B-Mat yoga mats for rent for $3, and for sale for $104, in lots of cool colors. If you haven’t tried these mats yet -- look forward! They are grippy and lightweight.
